Building a Marketing CMS in AEM
Delta Dental of California
Delta Dental was building a content management system (CMS) while redesigning their website. There were several functional goals they trying to achieve: Modernization, ADA compliance and ease of updating. I was brought in to help guide the design process in implementing the design system. Working with product owners, scrum masters, developers, qa engineers, content strategists, and writers we launched in 2020.
The design system was produced by an external agency prior to my joining Delta Dental. It was my job to implement the system and modify where needed. Through this exercise, I developed processes and modifications for repeatability and ease of use, while producing the designs for the full website.
Routing calls to the proper call center was a challenge. Working with customer support team we improved the user path.

Dentegra Design System
Dentegra is a dental insurance brand owned by Delta Dental. Like the Delta Dental of California site, Dentegra needed to modernize their web CMS as well as their website. I was the lead who styled the standard AEM components for this brand.
